Aston Martin DB11 V8 2018 First Drive Specs and Review

Aston and Mercedes-Benz jointly unveil a brand new Aston Martin DB11 V8 2018 Model in Costa Brava, Spain, with 4.0L twin-turbo DOHC 32-valve V-8 engine developed by AMG, designed to deliver a perfect level of performance. Combination of Mercedes and Aston make this vehicle very attractive to drive luxury marque.

This new eight-cylinder Aston’s heart is Mercedes-AMG’s 4.0L twin-turbocharged V8 which produces 503 horsepower and 513 lb-ft torque, which accelerates this DB11 from 0 to 60 MPH within 4.0 seconds and the rpm comes to 7000. The higher speed of this car is 187 MPH. Aston engineer made some changes to give some new intake in this car like a new exhaust system, slim-line wet sump lubrication, and new engine mounts.

The highlights of this car include Wi-Fi, two USB Ports, a 360-degree camera with front and rear parking sensors, push-button ignition, and full grain leather.

The sound of DB11 V8 is different from AMG. Matt Becker said that “AMG engines sound like thumpers”. Aston engineer made some great work to tuning the exhaust system to reduce bass frequencies at low RPM and added more for high frequencies noise.

The price of Aston Martin DB11 V8 is starting from $198995 which is $17500 lower than compared to V 12 model. Matthew Clarke, Aston’s U.S. communications chief, says people who are familiar with AMG’s engine and looking for a sportier look will defiantly attract to buy this car.
